BUT, I not longer wanted to be defined by what I do for a living. Cause all I did was live to work. I realized that although business was great. It's was scary to think that it really wouldn't take much to have my whole house of cards come crashing down. I took on a partner and he is buying the business from me! I was in search of a better life a better business which has fallen right into my lap. I have a fun business that I get to go on vacation and I get paid to promote that live style to others! I've had the entrepreneur spirit my whole life I'm supper fortunate to Be where I am today.

So where does hiking fall into this? To be honest up until 2010 I used to hate hiking. I just hated the idea of walking up and down hills and mountains to much work is how I looked at it. A friend of mine asked Jordan (my girlfriend of almost 5 years) and me if we would want to hike a 14er with him and some other friends. They wanted to hike Mt. Elbert tallest peak in CO as one of those bucket list things...14er? I didn't even know what that meant. I found out that 14ers are actually a thing that people do oddly enough. There is arguably 54, 14,000 foot peaks in CO. I thought how cool to say I have hiked a 14er, I have hiked the tallest mountain in CO. Thank you Darin for that simple invite to go hiking. In that moment you have without knowing it changed my life! Thank you so much. Jordan and I thought it would be a great idea. Mostly cause we wanted to spend time with these great people Darin, Sally, George and Vonda.
So I started looking at small hydration packs and all the stuff I could put in my pack. First aid kit, rain gear, foot care stuff, Knife, and hiking boots clothes, hat, ect. and the monster was created.
We found these awesome packs from walmart that where comfortable and had lots of room for all that "stuff" I wanted to put in it.
Picture on the Left was Taken at Hanging lake which is absolutely amazing. It's a mile hike to this little lake that is on the side of the mountain.
I have become sort of obsessed will all things hiking lately. I guess you have to be in order to even consider taking a long distance hike over 2650 miles. So that's me, at least the surface anyway. Stay tuned There is so much more to come!
