About the PCT

 What is the PCT?

Quick Answer: It was my home from April 22 to August 8th. The Pacific Crest Trail is a Hiking trail that runs from Mexico to Canada that's approximately 2650-2667ish miles long. The trail goes through California (1698 miles) Oregon (456 miles) Washington (514 miles) Hundreds of people attempt to thru hike the PCT every year and 60 percent finish (PCTa.org) The PCT Association keeps a list of those that have completed the whole thing Click here to see the 2600 miler list. Some people Hike the trail south Canada to Mexico. The Majority Hike north from Mexico to Canada. Mostly cause the window of ideal/safe Hiking weather is better northbound. It's also just what "most" people do. Some people even make a yoyo attempt. which is going from mexico to canada then back to mexico! I know one person has actually done it.
